If you've never gone fishing, you're missing out on how relaxing and peaceful it is. We went fishing with Jason, Leann, Ben and Henry in Heber and it was such a beautiful day. Sitting on the ground putting bait on the hooks, pulling it back and letting it fly and fall into the water. It's a beautiful thing. We didn't catch anything, but we weren't sad. We had great company and enjoyed just being together.

I've never been fishing... I've always thought it would be kind of a waste because I don't really eat fish and I think catch and release just sounds mean. I never really thought about how nice it is to just be outside... and I know Nate keeps saying he wants to go, but doesn't really have anyone to go with. Rhen's never been, sooo they'll have to team up someday... and you've convinced me I should be braver about it! :)
We went fishing about a month a go in Heber as well. We didn't catch anything either, but it was a blast just the same. How fun!
If only you could have been with us on our 1st family fishing adventure. What a story! I'm glad you had a great time! I LOVE the pictures!
Alli,
Your two kids are so cute...thanks for sharing. It looks like you've had a busy but fun summer. Thank you so much again for coming to Branson's service and for the beautiful flowers. You'll never know how much it meant to have you there! Rob and I recently started a family blog:
robandnataliecallfamily@blogspot.com
Hopefully we can keep in touch better through our blogs.
Love, Nat
Hey Alli, I hope you don't mind, but I copied the text of your post from April (the one about the King Benjamin tent) and used it on one of my blogs to share the idea with some fellow moms. Great idea. Thanks for posting it. :)
